At TreeWorks Kansas, we are passionate about trees and providing exceptional service to our clients. Our owner and operator, Trevor Whipkey, has over a decade of experience working-at-height and is ISA trained.

 

Trevor grew up in Baxter Springs, KS, but it was during his time working for the City of Lawrence Horticulture division in college that he developed a deep love and sense of pride for the city of Lawrence. After college, Trevor spent almost a decade as a rigger with Cirque du Soleil, leading rope access teams through large-scale construction projects across the country, including the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA., Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV and US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

 

Trevor's experience as a rigger has given him a depth of rigging knowledge that he brings to his work as an arborist. He is a rope access expert, having logged over 10,000 hours working on ropes. His unique combination of skills and experience allows him to tackle even the most challenging tree care jobs with precision and expertise.

 

Trevor is deeply committed to serving the city of Lawrence and the surrounding areas. He takes pride in his work and is dedicated to providing exceptional tree care services while minimizing our impact on the environment. We use electric chainsaws to reduce noise pollution and strive to recycle as much of our waste as possible.
